Truck will not start but turns over

I use my 1999 F150 to jump my nephew's car off
and then a day later I tried to crank my truck but it
would not crank what could be the problem

cranking is turning over , something else could have gone wrong by pure coincidence , check for spark and fuel pressure , do you hear the fuel pump prime the system when you hit the key ?
