Question type: Maintenance & Repair

replaced ignition tumbler and starter. ignition key
turned backwards, driver's side electronic window
will go down but not when truck is running.  When I
turn the ignition switch Ford to start the truck, I do
not have to turn it all the way for just a Click Ford in
the truck starts. When I go to drive the truck moves
just fine. However if I go to neutral it makes a
sound as if I was starting the truck once it was
already started. I am guessing I have trouble with
my steering column / ignition besides my actual
Tumblr. What do you think

the ignition is the pinion , the switch is the rack , when you took out the lock cylinder you could see what you're dealing with by looking in the cylinder cavity , I think the lock cylinder is on the wrong part of the rack , once the cylinder is out you can move the rack and go from off , to run , to start , the lock is spring loaded so that it goes back to run when it starts and you let go . make any sense ?
