drivers manual window won't work. replaced 3 times. Been a recall? How do I get it fixed for good?

I have not heard of any recalls on this. Best thing to do is just keep fixing it, or trade out of it -- it's VERY unusual for manual windows to fail this regularly, even power windows are more reliable than this nowadays.

Make sure the window is aligned properly so it doesn't bind in the track , and lube all slide points. An improper install will cause the window regulator to fail prematurely , so make sure everything is installed properly , and doesn't bind up.
