Engine swap

Can I swap a 96 f150 5.0 engine to a 95
f150 5.0 computer system?  Computer
system is different in the 96, I'm thinking
use the 95 harness

I just checked and the resistance values for all the important stuff like injectors, crank sensor, engine coolant temp ect, are all within reasonable limits so it should work alright you may have to change some of the connectors depending on how you do it. Take the time to do it right and you'll be a happy camper later on. I hope this helps. Take care.

Thanks. My truck was stolen but recovered. They tore it up some and I found the 95 4x4 with engine problems so I thought swap motors instead of parts and have a 4x4 to boot, mine is 2x4.
