Grinding noise from front wheel when turning right

Asked by Cody4001 Jun 30, 2019 at 01:26 AM about the 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Chevy avalanche. When I turn the steering wheel right even
slightly you can hear a grinding sound from the front wheel. Nit sure what side
but with the window rolled down while driving you can hear it.  I did the
brakes and they are all good rotors are also good. Could it be the wheel hub
being bad. 5he ABS light is on and I also replaced the ABS cable coming from
the hub but light is still on. Thank you

Suspect hub bearing or axle halfshaft ABS sensor light ON is a good clue hub bearing is bad. More than 70,000 miles change them overdue.
