Can I change a 3 speed transmission to a 4 speed transmission in a 1990 ford f150 lariat 2 wheel drive

I bought it with a 3 speed & I don't like the three speed tranny is going out so I thought if I could Id put in the 4 speed

you should just have to change the trans and the shifter.

Are you trying to go from an 3 speed automatic tranny to a 4 speed manual transmission? Or are both manual.

yes you can and you will love it. have done this same swap myself. I have 3-4 trannys myself. give me a call (906)280-8925.
