Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm starting my car put it in reverse pulled out of
the driveway went to put it in Drive. It went into
drive but it wouldn't engage. When you put it back
in park it still roll like it's in neutral the only way you
can stop it is to put on the parking brake. Hasn't
showed no signs of the transmission slipping it
just all of a sudden did this what could be the
problem?

Sounds like there is a problem with the shift linkage, or a shifting cable had broken. Just need to crawl underneath and look at where the linkage or cable attaches to the trany and look to see what the problem is.
