Has anyone found some different options to the roof rack? I want to be able to carry a bike and/or kayak. Would it be worth getting a bed cover if I would have to remove it every other weekend for farm use?

I don't think there are any other options to the roof rack besides perhaps aftermarket options. If you were looking at a bed cover, I would consider perhaps one of those roll-back tonneau covers that you could leave the fasteners attached, but simply take the tonneau cover off by unsnapping it. That would be my recommendation.
