well, first, have someone to a pressure check in the cylinders, determine if the coolant loss is due to a head gasket...then next cheap attempt is to PROPERLY as in by the directions, use Blue Devil if in fact it is a head gasket problem. Blue Devil is a specific name brand designed by GM, for GM, (caddy mostly), and go from there, if it is not the head gasket, feel free to let me know so it can be further diagnosed..but to answer your question: price differs pending size, (they didn't use just one engine), location, and when used, mileage and warranty on an old engine...
