My truck starts just fine but will not accelerate properly and rpms will not go over 2000

So my car starts just fine, I've checked the presure
valve and had plenty of presure, the pump kicks on
and I am getting gas to the filter. When driving my
car will not accede 2000 rpms nor will it accelerate
more that 30 MPH down hill. What could be
wrong??

do you have any check engine lights!? Does the car seem like it's bucking or misfiring?

It just came on but I've had this problem for a while so I don't think it has to do with what is happening. And no it dosent. Only thing that really is happening is it won't accelerate even at full throttle and won't go over 2000 rpms

Check your throttle cable--- it all gummed up, or is it actuating the throttle completely?
