Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If the brakes start to grind and squeals when I back up do both the front and rear brakes (pads & rotors) need to be replaced?

well is it only when you back up they squeal ? because if it is the brakes it should squeal both ways or its just when you brake so it would probably just be the rotors.

To be honest. I always do both because otherwise with the squeal. That means there's probably grooves in your rotors to from the warning points of your brake pads
