How to fix top on 2004 SSR

Asked by JohnBlanton Oct 30, 2014 at 09:17 AM about the 2004 Chevrolet SSR LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 SSR has been at Chevrolet dealership for 2 weeks.  While driving, top went into lowering activity, by the time I stopped, I smelled a strong odor such as oil burning on a hot motor or an electric motor burning out.  The dealership says the computer says there is no problem with the top, but it still doesn't operate and they don't know what to do.
