2004 SSR top and chimwill not operate

2004 SSR top will not open. The motor runs but nothing moves then chime ends the sequence ends. The dealer says no code shows problem and top worked for them. When I tried later I could hear the pump running but nothing moves. How does the top open to check the oil level in the pump?

Try pushing the top down button....before it chimes, release the button. Then push it again. The button may be out of sequence with the top. This method worked for me.
