Starter issues

Asked by Cortni Jo Dec 19, 2017 at 11:12 AM about the 2004 Chevrolet Malibu LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We put a brand new starter on and it started
up just fine so I drove to the store and as I
was pulling into the parking lot I lost power
steering, lights and was losing power, so I
drove it home, and now it again won't turn
over! Not sure where we went wrong but any
thoughts or ideas would be nice! Thank you!

Sounds to me like your belt broke ... look under the hood for a broken or missing belt ... (it may have just came off by itself) In either case you will need a jump to get started
