to wait 20 minutes average with the engine

If the transmission fluid has been changed regularly (max 60 to 80K miles) drain and replace. If the transmission fluid has never been changed you might try one of those magical formulas to extend transmission life - do NOT change the transmission fluid because that will probably accelerate your transmission's decline - (see your auto parts store) but this sounds like the beginning of eventual transmission failure. If you do nothing, drive gently and baby that thing, it could be years and thousands of miles before you need a rebuild or replacement.
