should you change tires before trading your old car in?

Looking to trade in my car but tires are kind of bad.  Wonder if it is worth it to
get new tires before trading it in.

This would be a waste of money. If you do install new tires get the cheapest things you can find. Chinese junk is what I would use on a trade in.
