Clutch on a 1990 4x4 V6 Toyota Truck

Hydraulic  clutch ,reservoir full of fluid.When pushing in clutch,it want go in
gear.If you force it to go in gear it wants to die when clutch is pushed in. Clutch
is not engaging. What could be the problem.?

Just because it’s full does not mean it is working maybe a leaking valve inside of clutch master cylinder showing no leak or bad slave cylinder.
