O2 sensors for a 03 Toyota Corolla ce

I just want to know if it's normal for my 03 Toyota
Corolla ce to only have one 02 sensor an it's before
the cat now I thought you needed one before an
after the cat.

Your car should have an upstream and downstream. Like you said one before the cat and one after in the exhaust system, not necessary close to the cat.
