Throttle Position Sensor Problem

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car always gives the spitting/choking kind of hesitation at the exhaust even when
idling. It looses power when driving uphill. I have a new distributor, could this be because
of the air cleaner or what. I tried to clean the throttle body many times.

You can tell if it's the air filter by just looking at it. If it is white clean, then no. How old are the spark plugs and wires? Other things come to mind is a partially plugged catalytic convertor, ignition timing after distributor installed done correctly...and more. An OBDII scan will help
