My 5sfe engine blew and I bought a newer
5sfe, (years 94-99 not sure which one) and
I cannot figure what this little piece is. Can
you guys help please?

looks like someplace a vacuum line goes into... I'll let more knowledgable folks tackle this

And this is why we don't encourage engine swaps for different year engines. The design is modified over the years and things like this come up. I hope you bought the entire engine package and not a bare engine.
