Can you put the engine from a 1997 Tacoma into a
2005 Camry and what would that intel

Only if you have a lot of time, money, talent, and patience. Assuming the Tacoma engine will fit into the space occupied by the old Camry engine, you still gotta hook it up to the transmission. This is almost certain to be an incompatible matchup. You would probably have an awful time certifying the combo for emissions.
