Engine light flashes and brake light on

My engine light has been on since I bought
the car. A couple weeks my spark plug blew
out and it started knocking and shaking we
got it home and replaced the spark plugs
and put it back in but now it reads the 4 th
cylinder is misfiring. It's died twice on start
up and now when first accelerating it
doesn't want to go so I kick it down and it
seems that after it gets out of first gear it
drives ok but the engine light flashes
inconsistently. My brake light has also
came on when this all started. Any guesses
as to what is wrong?

Engine light flashing is from misfiring of cylinders, Brake light can be from low fluid level to other issues scan the vehicle again write down all codes...The spark plug was loose and blew out? stripped threads? This Toyota needs a complete check out! is the 4 Cylinder?
