1996 suziki sidekick sport 1.8 litre. The gauge is showing car getting hot, althou it doesnt appear to be. We have flushed the radiator , chnaged the rad. cap replaced the temp sensor. What next?

REPLACE WATER PUMP It is recommended you remove the fan shroud, but if not you should have enough clearance if you remove the radiator hoses.. it'll just be very tight. Yes you have to remove the crank pulley. There are five small bolts on the inside of the pulley.. you simple remove these bolts and the pulley should fall right off.. then you remove the timing cover. To access the right half of the pump you need to remove the timing belt tensioner assembly.. you'll probably want to install a new timing belt while you're in there too! Make sure before you remove the timing belt, you set up the pulley marks are indicated in the illustrations below.. and after you reinstall the belt, rotate the engine by hand a few revolutions, and make sure the marks still line up!... good luck!
