I started my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix I put it in
reverse and I backed up fine as I started to take off
my car started jerking and and would not pick up
speed I don't know what the problem is do you
think you can help

Is it under heavy acceleration when it jerks? Could be a plugged catalytic converter. Any muffler shop can fix that. But it could be a bunch of other things. Scan it for trouble codes and see what comes up.
