Question type: General

I have a 2006 grand Prix with 147,000 miles on it
but my car is jerking really hard at red lights I had
some work done on my transmission but the part I
need fix is inside the transmission. Costing 2500 to
fix it but I came across a rebuild transmission
96,000 miles on it. My question is will it be capable
with my car? Its a 2001 transmission for a grand
Prix. But my car is a 2006 grand Prix.

No 2006 grand prixs have a 4T65E transmission and 2001 has a 4T60E transmission try 2004 to 2008 grand prix i believe they all have a 4T65E variant make sure by checking vin numbers and get a warranty on any transmission you buy at least a 6 month
