Where is the camshaft sensor located on a 1999 pontiac grand am gt and how would it be replaced?

I didn't pass emission's because of this.  The code read it was the camshaft sensor.

On the 3400 (or 3100) It is under the powersteering pump. You'll ave to pop the belt off and unbolt the pump from the timing cover. You should be able lift the pump out of the way without disconnecting the lines. You should see. Small guy held in by a retaining bolt.
