2000 mitsubishi montero sport

I have a 2000 mitsubishi montero sport . today I
was driving down the road and the a/t light  , check
engine light , battery light , &' brake light all came
on and eventually dimed off but this happened
multiple times throughout my drive . well tonight I
was driving home and the only lights on were the
check engine and brake light well my car ended up
stalling and  I had to be towed home. any ideas
what the problem could be

had similar problem, it all was caused by a leaky cam/timing seal on the front of the engine that had oil leaking down on the alternator. I had to replace the alternator as it was oil soaked and this cured my electrical blues for the time being, but not the leak. your gonna have to fix that cam/timing leak, or,...

Sounds like maybe your alternator . You can have it tested at Auto zone or O'Reilly's I wouldn't recommend discount cas I don't think they do the testing anymore but I could be wrong .
