I have a 1999 Marquis that run fine until it warms up about 3miles from the house and will not run again until after several minutes then you go a little more and it does this again any ideas ?

engine dies only when at operating temperatures, fine cold, will not start until it sits a few minutes and repeats !

Any lights coming on, on the dash? Does it hesitate when you take off? Does it idle rough when you cold start it? I need more information to help you. Please advise.
