Can an engine from a '93 Lincoln Town Car be used in a '93 Marquis?

I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm trying to buy an engine for my '93 Grand
Marquis and searching on "car-parts.com" brought up both Mercury and
Lincoln engines. Are they compatible? What info do I need to make sure it
works? Thanks! Also, I have never ordered a part before so...general info
would be awesome. I am a newbie.

If you don't know what you are doing, better get some one to help you. The motors are compatible, but you may have to change over some parts so it runs in your car. This would be exterior components between the two motors. It is not hard, but...
