Asked by want2buy Aug 02, 2013 at 01:55 PM about the 2003 Lincoln Town Car Signature

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We've had this used Town Car for a few months. Had oil change done. Mechanic didn't reset oil change feature. We have reviewed manual and tried everything repeatedly and the overhead panel above mirror STILL says Change Oil Now....
Appreciate any help about what else can we do about this nuisance?

This was helpful and applied to our Saturn. However, I had to reread our Lincoln manual to finally find out how to reset oil life on pg 60 of 2003 owners manual to anyone else with same issue. I'll tell our mechanic in the future. Thank you for taking time to try to help us out. It was annoying and we didn't want it to risk it meant a problem. Dipstick showed proper level and clear fluid, thankfully.
