Air Suspension for 2002 Lincoln Town Car

My air suspension light came on today while driving in
heavily rain. It was only on for about 3 minutes. I turned off
my car at a gas station, then turned it back on when I was
leaving and the light didnt come back on. Ive made about 5
trips in the car and the light hasnt come back on and I do
not notice any significant changes in how my car handles.
If there were a significant issue with my air suspension
system, would the light stay on permanently?
