The fuse should be labeled on fuse panel if not find location in owners manual if fuse is good which I suspect it is replace the brake light switch that is on the back side of brake pedal if equipped with one I had the same issue with a ford product I owned and that switch was the culprit.
Number 5 in the Central Junction Box, engine compartment.
