My 2001 lexus gs 300 isn't starting

Asked by Mkaioknale Mar 15, 2018 at 02:25 AM about the 2001 Lexus GS 300 RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My cars been sitting for about 3 months now and I
tried starting it, first the battery was dead and u
switched it out, now it tries to start but just won't
turn over, more than enough juice to get it started
but just isn't starting. I can hear the fuel pump and
all fuses are good. What could it be that wouldn't
hurt my pockets that I can do myself.

I'm not too familiar with the lexus security reset procedure, try googling it as it sounds like that's what you're having trouble with

Make sure your starter is good as well try just tapping on it a Lil bit while trying to crank seem to have work on my other vehicles

Yes, the starter may be frozen after your car has been sitting for a few months. Use the back end of a large screw driver and tap all over the starter while some one turns the key in the ignition.
