Lesxus ES300 shaking when I stop or slow down?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 99 lexus es300 and the mechanic I go to "supposely" replaced the sensors in
Nov.  2013. It was ok for a while, but now when I go up to a certain speed or car gets
warmed it begans to shake and feels like its going to cut off. The brake ped also gets
hard on me and tonight the smell from the exhaust or muffler was bad. You can hear it
clicking under the hood while running. The mechanic is telling me now I need new coils
but I truly believe it has something to do with these "sensors" he put in. What should I
do?

Go to auto parts store an put the car on the computer they would be able to tell you what sensor is bad or coils are bad since you sound like me I don't trust anyone lol
