Why is my O/D light blinking off and on when i drive my car?

Asked by LexusOwner123 Nov 14, 2014 at 09:42 PM about the 1994 Lexus ES 300 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Whenever i drive for about 5-15 minutes my
overdrive light blinks on and off my tranny
and car puurs like a cat! Also sometimes it
stalls or it turns off randomly, in that case i
just turn it back on and runs fine. My
transmission isn't slipping or anything. It
responds and sounds very accurate. I think
it's a sensor from the transmission to the
ECU. PLEASE HELP!
