What could be the problem and how do I fix it?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee starts and runs for a little while and then shuts off. I
unplugged the battery and replaced the TCM fuse and still issue. I do notice that the
check gauge light comes on now and stays on when key is in the on position also the
battery gauge is leaning towards the negative side. Once it shuts off it won't start back up
for awhile.

You may have more than 1 problem. Have the battery and charging system checked first. Then if you have never replaced the crank sensor I would do that next. Then reset the ECM and then drive it as you normally would. Hopefully that should clear up your problem.
