Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Audi A4 I had a mechanic change the
thermostat, water pump, and timing belt now the
car will not turn over. It acts like it wants to start
but it won't start. What could be the issue? They
are trying to tell me now that it has a bent valve.

No, mechanic? would perform those services with a bent valve in the cylinder head "timing belt" European cars always need more maintenance 4 cylinders in general. Yes,The A4 is a 2.7 V6 have it scanned for codes. Locate a facility that inspects with a endoscope have them record it (very easy in 2016) so you can view the bent valve. Regards

get a lawyer because u have a bent valve or valves caused by improper belt timing installation aprox $2000. job plus parts
