I have a 01 Audi A4 1.8T, I had the engine changed out and now I have the wire coming from the starter arcing the battery terminals. I have the smaller wire and the long black wire that goes from the starter. I don't know where they go to.

are you sure you did not mix up the alternator and starter wires????

hi again, thks for the j217 fault.. is was a wire breakage.. Now i have a new problem, i replaced the turbo , timimg chain .the gents at audi checked every thing on this car and they cant find out why i n not getting power. they checked the timming ,fuel pressure, troth body,and all is correct... im so confused plse advise me on this tks Kevin 1 Answer
