Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There is a lot of questions but not much for
answers
1997 Gmc , idles fine /like new / touch the gas and
it stumbles and stalls? Repairs done inc a new fuel
pump , up stream O2 sensor, switched out with a
used one that I know worked , one at a time a
throttle body, PCM, coil
Engine cranks , no fire .. it has spark and 50 psi fuel
pressure. It will fire and start when carb cleaner
sprayed in to throttle body . But will only idle
No codes , I unplug Map and sets a code but that
all / map is working
Any one know how to fix this ?

I Do my own repairs. the fuel pump failed prior and replaced with a Oem one several months ago It stalled 2 days ago and threw a O2 code I replaced it new made no change Same as above My next step is to look at the temp sensor Them back to the TPC if needed Last resort to the cats I think 50 is ok , I also trained the fuel tank as thought it was water at first

I don't know , sounds like a gremlin , check for motor to chassis ground . Look for corrosion at relay box ? There may be 2 relays for the fuel pump , one for prime/start up and one for operation . Mice can invade even a daily driver .

I know mice are bugger , but not it Up date ,it started after sitting all night 50 psi while running I clamped the return line no change in fuel pressure took off the intake changed fuel regulator, took off fuel filter , its fine , cleaned ground at tank Changed the relay with another one I had , No changes , 45 psi while cranking..looks like the Oem pump failed lasted about 2 months going to change it again.
