2005 GMC Envoy wont start

Asked by Kevin Jul 10, 2019 at 03:51 AM about the 2005 GMC Envoy XL SLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Lights work, horn works, radio works, dash gauges do not
work and the red battery light comes on.the security light is
not on so I do not think that is the issue. Sometimes it will
start if I wait a few minutes but now it wont start at all. This
is a no crank no start issue.

Does it sounds like it’s trying to start but just not turning over or does it give no feedback at all?

the battery light is on because there is no power getting to the gauges, the battery is fine

it is not trying to start. not turning over not doing anything. no crank no start.

I have a 04 envoy & is doing same thing if you have any tips I would surly appreciate it..

I’ve had a similar issue a while back, my lights, radio, and ect would come on but wouldn’t even crank. My security light wasn’t on but going through my fuses I found my security fuse was blown. I replaced it and car started right up just fine
