I was looking for the lever to open the hood for a 2003 dodge grand caravan se and could not find it.

Question type: General

I looked around by the parking brake and did not find it. Am I missing it? The dealership changed the oil recently but my husband wanted to look for the lever to look under the hood. Help!

it is directly underneath the column on the left unless they broke the handle. Find the rest of the cable and use either pliers or vice grips to open your hood. Good luck!

The handle won't do you any good if the cable won't release the hood latch. I broke my handle off trying to do that, and no matter how I pull the cable by hand or vise grips, it only releases when it feels like it. Right now it's in a really bad mood, and so am I, so when I get somebody to help me, we will see if you have to pull up or push down on the hood. You never know.
