Idle surging and sputtering. No mpg. Random over heating. The definition of a two ton paperweight.

Asked by Alyssa Sep 20, 2017 at 06:52 PM about the 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It started with a bad fuel pump. Fixed that.
Then it starts surging in idle and im getting
NO gas mileage. Mabye a week or so later it
will only start by being pumped like a
carborated engine. Its a 99 dodge grand
caravan as far as im aware. There is no
carborater. So. THEN it starts to shudder as
if it wants to die in idle all the while still
surging too o.o now two days ago we drove
to a friends 7 miles away. Stayed for two
hours or so went to leave went two miles
and it starts to overheat. What is wrong with
this car all fluids are good. It threw one code
for o2sensor once. The lights turned of
since then. Heeeelp
