battery light

after sitting in traffic the battery light comes on have replaced battery still does
it.

I would definitely look at the alternator. While you are at it clean the battery terminals and cable ends.

I would clean the Battery terminals and cable ends first in case of corrosion. And then if it still happens check your alternator, while you car is running take the ground terminal off the battery. if it continues to run your alternator is OK, if it stops running you have a bad alternator.
