i HAVE A 2003 4.6L V8 FORD EXPLORER LIMITED. i HAVE A 2004 MERCURY
MOUNTAINEER MOTOR IN IT. MY FAN BLADES ARE BROKEN AND CHIPPED. THE
CLUTCH ASSEMBLY IS FINE. WHAT IS INTERCHANGEABLE FORTHE FAN BLADE?
i WOULD LIKE TO FIND A METAL ONE.
According to Hollander's Interchange Manual (hollanders.com), you are limited to Ford Explorers and Mercury Mountaineers - although this looks at the shroud assembly as well, you might have better luck looking at a performance fan blade from a vendor like Summit Racing. You can find a Hollander's manual at a library if you want to check parts compatibilities (otherwise it costs about $50)
Unless the original fan blade broke/chipped because someone dropped a wrench down there when the engine was running I recommend you find the cause of the failure first. Your next purchase may be a radiator and/or ac parts.
