2006 ford escape won't start..

I started my 06 Escape to come home from work..
it ideled for about 5 minutes then died.. I can turn
the key over and nothing. Dash lights and all that
work.  I bypassed the relay with a jumper wire for
the starter and it works but it won't fire.. Is it the
coil pack or fuel pump or key ignition?
