2003 chevy silverado 4x4 transmission

transmission rebuilt 30 miles ago, and all of a sudden it quit shiufting and started slipping going into 3rd and 4th gear. i have been driving in 2nd when i had to go somewhere. i got back in it today and now it is shifting fine. i went home and after a couple hours got back in truck and it does the same thing , no 3rd 4th and od. also sometime when i switch the truck on it may be in 2wd or 4wd high or 4wd low. what the hell is gfoing on ? can some one help me out?

Let's start, 4th gear is overdrive. I assume your referring to "od" as torque converter lockup. When these transmissions fail they start slipping in 3rd and 4th. The trans wasn't done right and it sounds like instill at ion was botched too. Check the wiring tk your transfer case
