1996 Chevy Silverado z71

I have a buddy who has a 96 Chevy z71 he
said that the headlights taillights and dash
lights all go out when ever the truck starts
to warm up took a volt meter and
everything is good what could this be

well, if they go out when it gets warm that means something electrical is breaking circuit when wire/s get hot.get a schematic and trace that circuit for a open wire,it will probably be broke inside the insulation.

my guess probably engine bay,other thing to check is if it has trailer wiring.
