!996 chevy G20 van starts sometimes but not always?

I replaced the fule pump and filter, The van starts most of the time but on
occasion it doesn't. I f I hit the gas tank it will start. does anyone have any
reccomendations

Sounds like there is a bad connection back at the fuel pump, maybe a ground or at the plugin.

I have the same problem with my 92 g20 van and I just replaced the fuel pump and filter. I’ve been hearing ppl say that it’s my fuel lines that’s the only thing I haven’t replaced.
