1977 Corvette no drive gears

Question type: General

I just picked up a 1977 Corvette and it's only shifting into
reverse and neutral. It will not go into any drive gears. The
clutch is good it's almost like something is blocking the
shifter from moving into any drive gear. Any idea what
would cause this to happen?

I think your transmission probably has external shift linkage. Maybe a shift lever cam loose.

If it is not the shift linkage there may be an internal transmission problem.
