I own a Datsun Go(T), recently I am facing certain issues in it. My headlights are working well even my brake lights but my Parking lights and number plate lights are not working. I have checked the bulbs but they are also fine. Does anybody know how to fix them because I also did not find any issue in the fuse box under the hood and also the dashboard one.

Remove the headlight switch and locate the tail light wire by comparing wire colors with the light sockets in other words remove both front park/turn sockets they will have one wire in common say the right side has a brown and yellow wire and the left side has a green and brown wire, the brown wire is it. Now locate the same color wire on the switch and check for current using a test lite if no current replace the switch if there is current start following the wire until you find where it broke, my guess is the switch. I hope this helps

Were the parking lights were kept on for a longer period of time by mistake? Is the speedometer glowing when parking lights are turned on? I am having the exact same problem, which I am going to investigate this wkend. I will let you know the problem and solution. If Found ;-)

Have you got the solution already? If so please share the solution/fix. Also, if you have the car owner's manual can you scan and share the soft copy with me? This would be of great help to me. TIA
